Acceptable use policy

Part of the Terms of service. All Organizations share the reputation of the saauf.xyz domain — a single abuse can stop everyone else’s mail from being delivered. That is why we enforce these rules consistently.

1. Why these rules exist

Ezra Mail is for correspondence with people who write to the Organization themselves or expect to hear from it — customers, business partners, candidates. It is not a tool for mass mailing, marketing or sending to purchased or harvested address lists.

2. Prohibited content and activities

  • Unsolicited commercial communication (spam) and messages sent without the recipient’s consent where consent is required — in particular within the meaning of the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means and the Electronic Communications Law.
  • Phishing, data harvesting, impersonating other people, companies or institutions, including through a mailbox or sender name.
  • Malware, links to it and content used for fraud.
  • Unlawful content, including content infringing copyright, personal rights or trade secrets, as well as terrorist content or content depicting child sexual abuse.
  • Harassment, threats and content inciting hatred.
  • Circumventing plan limits, including by creating multiple Organizations, attempts to access other Organizations’ data, load testing and scanning the service without our consent.
  • Reselling the service or making it available to third parties as your own mail service without the Service Provider’s consent.

3. Sending rules

  • Write to people who expect messages from the Organization. Do not send messages to addresses obtained from lists, scraping or third parties.
  • The sender name and subject must honestly identify the Organization and the purpose of the message.
  • Respond to requests to stop contacting someone — block the sender under Mailboxes so they no longer receive automatic replies.
  • The bounce rate should not exceed 4%, and the spam complaint rate 0.1% of messages sent. We treat exceeding these thresholds as a sign of abuse.

4. The saauf.xyz domain

  • Mailboxes on the saauf.xyz domain are allocated on a first-come basis. A mailbox name should correspond to the Organization or its department and must not suggest that the message comes from the Service Provider, another company or a public institution.
  • Sending from @saauf.xyz addresses is limited per day: Start — 100, Team — 1,000, Business — 5,000, Enterprise — 20,000 messages. The limit also covers automatic AI replies.
  • Organizations that need higher volumes or their own reputation use their own domain through their own Resend account — Resend’s rules then apply to them as well.
  • The Service Provider sends messages only from @saauf.xyz addresses. A message signed as Ezra Mail from any other domain is a fraud attempt — report it to abuse@saauf.xyz.

5. Automatic AI replies

  • Automatic replies are for answering messages received by the Organization — not for starting correspondence.
  • Do not configure the assistant to mislead recipients, to claim to be human when someone asks, or to make statements on the Organization’s behalf that it does not intend to honor.
  • Keep the AI notice in automatic replies, unless you inform recipients about the use of AI in another way.

6. How we respond to violations

  1. Depending on the severity of the violation we may: ask for an explanation and removal of content, pause the Organization’s outgoing mail, withdraw an address on the saauf.xyz domain, block the Organization or Account, or terminate the agreement under § 15 of the Terms of service.
  2. While sending is paused, receiving mail and access to data keep working, and Owners see the reason in the app. We give the reason for every action; you can appeal it at kontakt@saauf.xyz.
  3. We remove or disable access to unlawful content promptly after receiving credible notice of its unlawful nature.

7. Reporting abuse

Received spam or phishing from an @saauf.xyz address? Forward it as an attachment (with headers) to abuse@saauf.xyz. We respond within 2 business days and handle urgent reports (phishing, malware) with priority.
